Historic Heard Building once home to Arizona Republic, KTAR getting infill makeover

A historic Phoenix building built by land baron and publisher Dwight Heard that served as the home to The Arizona Republic and Phoenix Gazette newspapers as well as KTAR is getting a makeover. The Heard Building near Central Avenue and Adams Street is getting a new glass facade and its office floors a more modern and open build out. The seven-story downtown building is made of concrete.
