Federal case accuses UPS of religious discrimination

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in New York Wednesday against United Parcel Service Inc., accusing the company of religious discrimination. The Atlanta package shipper prohibits male employees in customer contact or supervisory positions from wearing beards or growing their hair below collar length.
