Primera Energy LLC owner Brian Alfaro on Monday officially handed over control of the company to a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy trustee.
Alfaro lost control of his embattled company during a July 9 bankruptcy court hearing, when U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Craig Gargotta appointed Jason Searcy to take over the San Antonio-based oil company.
During a Monday afternoon creditors' hearing, Alfaro gave Searcy the keys to Primera Energy's north San Antonio headquarters.
