Small towns and businesses could feel the pinch from alcohol sales decision

Some small towns and businesses in metro Birmingham are worried about lost revenue after the Alabama Supreme Court ruling overturned a 2009 law allowing smaller cities in dry counties to vote on alcohol sales. The 2009 law lowered the number of required citizens to vote to 1,000 from 7,000, as we previously reported.
