
State lawmakers easily approved a bill Monday clarifying the state's existing so-called guns-in-trunks law.
The companion bills — easily approved in both the state House and Senate Monday — clarify that an employee can file suit if they were fired solely for having a gun stored in their vehicle while at work.
According to The Tennessean, the measure was opposed by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
