
On Wednesday, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved new rules that will OK an IPO-lite program, according to the Washington Post.
The new rules, the paper said, will allow small companies to raise lots more than before under an expanded Regulation A filing. Reg A filings aren't nearly as popular as Reg D filings. But the new rules will allow companies to solicit up to $50 million annually from small investors — average folks who can't invest in many early opportunities — for equity.…
