A Raytown company that hit gas lines by digging without calling the Missouri One Call Center now finds itself in a legal hole. The Missouri Attorney General’s Office said Thursday that it has filed suit against Tycon Co. LLC.
The lawsuit, filed in Jackson County Circuit Court, alleges that Tycon conducted excavations seven times in Sprint 2013 without calling Missouri One Call. In each instance, the company hit gas lines, often in residential areas.
