Cruise company must pay penalties to N.C. for robocalls disguised as surveys

A Florida-based cruise line must pay $500,000 in penalties for what the N.C. Attorney General's Office is calling "abusive telemarketing practices." Caribbean Cruise Line Inc. is accused of working with seven companies to make billions of robocalls pitching cruises to the Bahamas.
