Kauai's Film Commission raked in $4.4 million in movie production expenditures in 2014, including $3 million from " Jurassic World," which is scheduled to premiere on June 12, the county said Wednesday.
PBN first reported that the Jurassic Park movie series' fourth film would be filming in Hawaii.
"Many of our businesses benefitted from it including the airlines, hotels, rental car and helicopter companies as well as food establishments," Art Umezu, Kauai County's film commissioner, said in a statement.
