A Kansas City Council committee approved paying a $250,000 settlement to a former city councilman aide, The Kansas City Star reports. Tonia Titus filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint against former city councilman Michael Brooks, who she alleged created a hostile work environment based on her sex.
