McBee Strategic hasn't exactly had a smooth ride in recent months. After the lobbying firm was acquired by law firm Wiley Rein at the end of last year and founder Steven McBee left, a significant number of employees left the firm.
Now Thomas J. Pernice, a former business partner of McBee executive Eric Bovim, is suing the firm, alleging he was wrongly cut out of a deal when the company they founded was acquired by McBee, The Washington Post reports.
