Ekahi Health System is partnering with the Hawaii Medical Service Association and Healthways, Inc. to offer a chronic disease treatment program as an alternative to surgery or medication to Oahu residents.
The Ornish Reversal Program, developed by Preventive Medicine Research Institute Founder and President Dr. Dean Ornish, targets coronary artery disease and other chronic conditions by assisting patients with lifestyle changes such as exercise, stress management, nutrition and community support.
