Minneapolis tax preparer charged with cheating state out of $1.4 million

A Minneapolis tax preparer was charged with 53 felonies for allegedly defrauding the state of $1.4 million in tax revenue. The Hennepin County Attorney's Office announced charges against 51-year-old Rona Griffin of Minneapolis Thursday.
