Wichita adds former city prosecutor as its director of law

The city of Wichita has hired Jennifer Magana as its city attorney and director of law. City manager Robert Layton announced the hiring Friday. As director of law, Magana will oversee a 26-person department and a $2.6 million budget. She also will be over Wichita’s civil and criminal divisions.
