Lawyers who oppose large-scale deportation want judge's help in data spat with feds

Boston-based lawyers from private firms and the American Civil Liberties Union who oppose some of the ways the federal government deports immigrants who re-enter the country after being told by federal officials that they shouldn't be here want a federal judge to help them in a fight with the Department of Homeland Security over data. The plaintiffs in the case are the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild and the ACLU. They're joined in the case by lawyers from Proskauer Rose.…
