
While stalled cargo vessels rock at anchor in Seattle's Elliott Bay due to a protracted labor dispute, the competing Port Metro Vancouver in British Columbia just released record container numbers.
Canadian port directors have said in recent press reports that they're not interested in landing short-term cargo that can't move through U.S. West Coast ports due to the contract struggle.
But they are beefing up to grab even more cargo in the future, including at least some of it U.S.-bound imports…
