The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas on Kauai recently completed the installation of a cogeneration plant that can generate most of its energy needs.
The multimillion-dollar cogeneration plant will generate electricity and steam for the 18.5-acre hotel and its eight buildings, as well as heating water for guest villas and the resort’s four pools and three whirlpools.
