The $1.3 billion Thirty Meter Telescope project in Hawaii is responding to an opposition movement, which has been gaining momentum, in multiple ways to get facts out to the public. Honolulu public relations firm Becker Communications has been added to the nonprofit TMT Observatory Corp. team, and will serve as a TMT voice on Oahu, in addition to the Kailua-Kona-based firm Current Events.
