Local Motors Inc. is claiming one of its successful crowdsourced military car designs was stolen without any credit in the new “Furious 7” action film.
CEO Jay Rogers said the “bad guy’s car” in the popular flick looks just like the Chandler-based company’s XC2V Flypmode design from four years ago. The design was even presented to President Barack Obama in 2011, Rogers said.
