The most extensive jury selection process ever in a U.S. criminal case has ended, with 12 jurors and 12 alternates chosen to hear the murder case against James Holmes.
Holmes is accused of opening fire in a crowded Aurora movie theater in July 2012, killing 12 and injuring dozens. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty; Holmes' attorneys argue that he was insane at the time of the shootings.
