The $1.3 billion Thirty Meter Telescope project in Hawaii has launched a microsite on the Internet to provide facts about the telescope and its construction online.
The site opens with a quote from King Kalakaua in 1874, in support of astronomical observations hosted in Hawaii, and offers a lengthy list of questions and answers.
Content will continuously be updated, according to Sandra Dawson, TMT Manager of Hawaii Community Affairs.
