
The University of Dayton's business plan competition has ended with five start-up ideas winning funding, which could mean the launch of new businesses.
The Business Plan Competition brought $190,000 in support and expert advice to winning pitches this year. The top winner was You Tune Hearing Protection — a recently-patented adjustable device that helps guard against hearing loss. It took the $25,000 grand prize.
