Court denies Duluth's bid to revive tribal casino deal
The City of Duluth has lost another round in its long-running fight over revenue from the Fond-du-Luth Casino, as a federal court rejected efforts to reinstate a deal with the tribe that runs the casino.
WDIO-TV reports that U.S. District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly upheld a 2011 regulatory decision that voided the deal between the city and the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.
