
Backers of construction-defects reform have launched a marketing and robo-calling campaign targeting legislators who could be key votes in bringing the bill to the House floor — even before Senate Bill 177 passes the Senate.
Robo-calls began over the weekend in the district of House Speaker Dickey Lee Hullinghorst, D-Gunbarrel, a declared opponent of the bill who will decide which committee will hear SB 177 and determine whether to send it to the floor of the House for a final vote.
