Silicon Valley tech companies Apple Inc., Google Inc. and eBay Inc. made the grade in this year's Top Companies for Women Technologists Leadership Index, but the Anita Borg Institute named a bank on the other side of the country as its overall winner.
The nonprofit institute, which focuses on the advancement of women in computing, named the three Silicon Valley tech firms Wednesday among a list of 13 leaders in enabling and growing women in technical roles.
