University of Hawaii receives NASA grant for volcanic research

The University of Hawaii is one of 15 universities selected by NASA for a competitive educational research grant, the National Aeronautic and Space Agency announced Thursday. Each university received up to $750,000 of a total $11.25 million grant for research and technology development in remote sensing, nanotechnology, astrophysics and aeronautics.
