Testimony finally concluded Friday afternoon about two months after the start of a hearing on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission fraud case against former Assisted Living Concepts CEO Laurie Bebo.
The hearing in Milwaukee started April 20 and ran for about three weeks and then was adjourned until June 15. Testimony in the civil case resumed this week and continued through Friday.
Administrative law judge Cameron Elliot is expected to issue a ruling on the civil case within about two months.
