Hawaii Gov. David Ige talks pre-clearance and tourism in Japan

Gov. David Ige took his first international trip to Japan last week, and spent his time during the three-and-a-half day visit meeting with tour companies and airlines, as well as the prime minister of Hawaii’s largest but struggling international market for visitors. The governor’s office said Ige attended 19 meetings and events during the three-and-a-half day visit. He met with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe; airlines with flights from Japan to Hawaii including ANA, Delta Air Lines, Japan…
