Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, a Detroit, Michigan-based law firm, said today it has acquired Schopf & Weiss, a Chicago law firm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Honigman said the acquisition is part of a plan to expand its national reach beyond Michigan.
Along with the acquisition of Schopf & Weiss, Honigman said it is adding two more attorneys to its new Chicago practice — Rene Ghadimi, who is joining from Skadden Arps, and Gregory Morris, who is joining from the Paul Hastings…
