Eyeing the private eyes

Colorado consumers now can do a little investigating on the private investigators they hire. All Colorado private investigators must be licensed by the state through the Private Investigators Licensure Act, which was singed into law last summer but went into effect June 1. Part of the license program includes passing a jurisprudence exam demonstrating knowledge of the laws and rules applicable to PIs.
