Delta Air Lines Inc. hired Minneapolis lawyer Peter Carter its new chief legal officer.
Carter joins the Atlanta-based airline July 13 to replace Richard “Ben” Hirst, who will retire in February 2016. Hirst will help with the transition of the legal team and related matters before he retires.
Carter comes to Delta (NYSE: DAL) from international law firm Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis, where he was chairman of the board and a trial partner. Carter has handled complex litigation issues for top…
