
The median price of a single-family home last month on the Big Island of Hawaii soared by 24 percent on fewer sales, driven partially by the sales of homes in North Kohala that skirted around a $1.6 million median sales price, according to data provided by Hawaii Information Service on behalf of Hawaii Island Realtors.
