Hickenlooper appoints new Colorado Court of Appeals judge

Elizabeth Harris has been appointed to serve as a judge in the Colorado Court of Appeals, Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Friday. Harris will take the place of James S. Casebolt, a 21-year judge who in April announced that he would retire July. Harris, who has been practicing in law since 1996, is a sole practitioner who focused on appellate work, civil litigation and criminal defense.
