A Surry County lawyer was injured when he was was attacked by a man with a pickaxe, police said.
Attorney Hugh Mills, of Dobson, sustained cuts and abrasions in the attack, which occurred Wednesday, the Mount Airy News reported. He was treated at the scene.
Police said James Grayson Hall was arrested in connection with the attack. WXII-TV reported that he "was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting injury."
