Missouri Senate hires attorney for 'harassment complaint'

The Missouri Senate has hired Jim Nowogrocki of St. Louis-based Weiss Attorneys at Law in response to a "workplace harassment complaint." The senate hired the attorney, to be paid $270 an hour, on May 7, the Associated Press reports. The fee agreement didn't provide details about the complaint, but Minority Leader Joe Keaveny told the news agency the Senate is conducting an internal investigation and declined further comment.
