Hawaii lawmakers advance proposal to buy Downtown Honolulu office building
Hawaii lawmakers have advanced a bill that would allow the state to enter into negotiations for the purchase of the 25-story Alii Place office building in Downtown Honolulu to house state agencies.
Friday was the deadline for House and Senate conferees to pass bills out of their respective committees before a final floor vote. The Legislature will close its current session this week.
