With two years of failed legislative efforts to address road funding in their rear-view mirror, leaders of the Colorado Legislature from both parties offered no alternatives Thursday - the day after the 2016 session ended - other than to say that they will bring back similar plans in 2017.They also hope that voters can knock their opponents out of power in the November election so that they can finally push the measures through.
