Wild assistant coach Darryl Sydor reports to workhouse Friday for DWI

Minnesota Wild assistant coach Darryl Sydor pleaded guilty to second-degree driving Monday, a gross misdemeanor, court records show. Fridley police arrested the former hockey player in August while he was driving his 12-year-old son to a youth hockey game. Sydor, who had a blood alcohol level of 0.3 percent (well above the 0.08 legal limit), checked into the NHL's substance abuse program three days later.
