Hawaii State Bar Association convention to focus on medical marijuana dispensaries

The Hawaii State Bar Association will address a hot topic at its upcoming conference: the state's first medical marijuana dispensaries. Eight licensees will be selected to run the first retail dispensaries in the state as early as April next year, with dispensaries set to open in July. Two panel discussions on the new medical marijuana industry will be held Oct. 23 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
