Former St. Louis prosecutor admits covering up for officer who assaulted inmate

A former assistant circuit attorney in the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office has pleaded guilty to covering up for a police officer who assaulted an inmate. Bliss Barber Worrell, 28, pleaded guilty to one count of misprision of a felony.
