
The city of Glendale on Tuesday night voted to cancel a bond election scheduled for Nov. 3 in order to allow more time to act on lawsuit filed against the city by Summit Hospitality LLC last month.
The bond election would have authorized the Glendale Urban Renewal Authority to issue $200 million in bonds to pay for Glendale 180, the $150 million entertainment district announced by Glendale last April.
But the election is the target of a lawsuit filed in Arapahoe County District Court on Sept. 3.…
