
As the political battle over short-term rentals on platforms such as Airbnb and HomeAway continues, the Nov. 3 ballot measure to limit such rentals in San Francisco could negatively affect the very hotel employees who support it.
That’s according to a paper circulated by San Francisco For Everyone, a pro-home sharing campaign that opposes Prop. F. The paper was written by Curtis Smolar, a lawyer with firm Browne George Ross LLP in San Francisco.
