New bar exam supported by UNM Law school

New Mexico’s recent adoption of the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) could ultimately increase out of state business for local law firms, as well as facilitate recruitment efforts. On Nov. 1, the state formally decided to replace the bar exam, previously used to admit attorneys to practice in the state, with the UBE — which is a standardized exam developed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
