
The Alabama Supreme Court on Monday blocked a judge's order to return confiscated gambling machines to VictoryLand in Macon County.
The Alabama Attorney General's Office requested a stay from the court, which was granted, according to a report from the Associated Press.
The decision comes a week before the judge's deadline to return the 1,615 electronic bingo machines taken from the establishment in 2013, along with $260,000 in cash confiscated during the police raid.
