Former Bham attorney nominated to 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals

President Barack Obama on Thursday announced the nomination of Judge Abdul Kallon to serve on the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Atlanta.

If Kallon is confirmed, he'll be the first black judge to ever sit on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, according to a report from WBRC Fox 6 News.
