The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the county's request, which was filed in an attempt to speed up a legal dispute over the sale of the Downtown Transit Center. Milwaukee County officials approved selling the property on the downtown Milwaukee lakefront to developer Rick Barrett for his 44-story Couture apartment high-rise.
