Local women launch new charity program

A group of women lawyers and other businesswomen in Sacramento have started a new charity program to give back to the local community. It's called 100+ Women Who Care Sacramento Valley, and the idea is to get at least 100 local women to give $100 to a local nonprofit every quarter. Members nominate worthy nonprofits, show up at quarterly meetings, listen to presentations and vote on which organization gets the money.
