Hawaii's United Laundry joins with Las Vegas-based PureStar Linen Group

The board of United Laundry Services, the commercial laundry service founded nearly 30 years ago by former Hawaii first lady Vicky Cayetano, said Friday that the Honolulu-based company has joined Las Vegas-based PureStar Linen Group.

Cayetano, who has an interest in the business, will remain as president and CEO of United Laundry and local employees and management in Hawaii will continue in their current roles, the company said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
