Albert Momjian, considered the dean of the local family law bar, died on Monday at age 82 due to an illness.

Mr. Momjian practiced law for more than 50 years, retiring in December 2012 as a partner from Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, where he was chair of the family law department and practiced for almost a quarter century.
