Consolidated Theatres plans to open its ninth location in Hawaii at DeBartolo Development's long-planned Ka Makana Alii shopping center in West Oahu, the Florida-based developer said Tuesday.
The eight-screen theater will be the first new movie theater to break ground since 2001, and joins Consolidated's Kapolei 16-plex in West Oahu at the Kapolei Entertainment Center.
The Target-anchored Kapolei Commons retail complex also is in line to get a Regal Entertainment Group 12-screen movie theater complex.
